FAQ

Questions, answered.

Contact support
01 I have a question about my order - who do I contact?

Please reach out to us via email at contact@notoriouscookware.com.

02 What is your return policy?

Returns are accepted on the basis of a damaged or faulty item. Email contact@notoriouscookware.com within 14 days of receiving your order.

03 How do I take care of the chopping board or chef's knife?

The Chopping Board: Avoid soaking in water. Wash with a sponge using warm water and mild dish soap immediately after use; pat dry with a towel. Ensure the board is completely dry to prevent warping or cracking. Every 1–2 months, rub the board with food-safe mineral oil or beeswax to keep it hydrated.

The Chef's Knife: Hand-wash the blade with mild soap and warm water; dry immediately with a soft cloth. No dishwasher. Store in a sheath to protect the edge. Apply a light coat of food-safe mineral oil to the ebony handle occasionally. Hone regularly and sharpen professionally twice per year.

04 Can I wash my chopping board or chef's knife in the dishwasher?

No. Heat and moisture cause wood to warp, crack, or split and can damage the steel. Hand-wash with mild soap and warm water, then dry immediately.

05 How can I remove knife marks or stains from the board?

Knife marks are normal and bound to occur with use. To remove deep marks or stains, gently sand the surface with very fine-grit sandpaper and re-oil the board to restore its smooth finish.

06 What is the spray that Notorious Foodie uses on his chopping board?
